Is scentsy worth the money ?

Hey soapies ,

For a while I’ve been really thinking about trying the scentsy wax melts . I thought they were something that was sooo not worth the money … how I was wrong !!

I tested some for a local rep. I thought I was probably gonna be like yes it smells great and never ever use it again however I really do love the smell 🙈 the smells are now a lot more than when I first heard of the group and there’s so much you can do with the melts and warmers . The one I tried filled my whole flat for hours with the smell of warm coffee … it really made me think of luxury !

What have you tried and loved by accident ? Let me know ,

Part 1 of up cycling month : How to upcycle a treasure chest

Hey soapies ,

On Christmas Day I received a chest which was battered and definitely needed some love ( it was falling off everywhere and looked dreadful … that Word there I love as my nanny used too always say I looked dreadful and despite it being a horrible saying it just made me laugh ) anyway … the chest first off had all the rubbishy bits that were peeling taken off ( a whole bin bag! ) I used a wet wipe too get all the dust off ( magical item that is ! )

Then I used lord shurtons wood balsam over the wood carefully ( that was a purchase I didn’t intend but there was no wax in my town so this £2.50 savour was too the rescue ) followed by a sand and then another bit of balsam and a sand . This was all over a few days and did take a lot of time . I then finally varnished it too give it a darker look . This 1800s chest would have been chucked within a few years but now it’s preserved and it’s going too be my new blanket box . It just needs the fabric inside glueing … does anyone have any glue recommendations? Hope you have a lovely day x lots of love Soap xx

My super easy and cheap kitchen accessories

Hey Soapies ,

A little bit boring but here’s my blog today on my kitchen and the items I have . So I have a knife block which I always wanted one but they are normally so expensive I just stuck too random colourful knives in one of my draws which was like a finger trap every time I went in there . This block was from Asda and only cost £4 after Christmas ! So it was a bargain !

The next up is my stag container without the stag lid which contains straws and was £3 I believe in matalan . Followed by my super cheap containers from wilkos which can be used for anything and a brilliant for flour etc but cost from £3 so not bad and they look cute and they have a blackboard top … what more do you want ?

The sweet jars were from my mum but they can from Sainsburys and the spice rack was £9.99 in bandm and is practically all the spices and herbs you need ! What’s your bargain kitchen accessories and tell me what you want me too blog about x love Soap xx

The meals verdict – 10/10?

Okay well tonight’s meal was super delicous however the portions would suit more a single person as they shrunk once cooking . Very delicious but purely based on the portion sizes I wouldn’t buy again . It also left my dish in a state lookI used the antibacterial fairy which was 80p from savers on it and it’s all come up pretty well. Antibacterial washing up liquid was not only cheap and works fab it’s also stopping us from getting all these horrible colds everyone has . What washing up liquid do you use and let’s here your washing up tips on sparkling dishes . Love lots soap xx

Fab Fridays  – wardrobe ideas ☺️

Hey soapies ,

You may be a little bit of a clothe a holic or just like too have a nice wardrobe then you have met your blog to read .

Here’s my top guide on getting a good wardrobe and the right one for you .

1. Space – always think about the space you need and the space you have . Get a wardrobe that is adaptable – what I mean by that is one you can take to new homes or place in new places easily .

2.matching – will your wardrobe match your other furniture and will it simply suit the room .

3. What do you want ?- do you want a mirror ? Enough space for long dresses or more space for underwear ? Decide what you want .

4. Price – sometimes the price can shock you but you have too think can you really afford that and do you need that extra bit or it in that colour or next day delivery ?

My wardrobe was £200 from a online store on eBay from London who delivered and built the wardrobe within half an hour in my home . The delivery was £30 but it was worth it .

This is my wardrobe . It’s white and has a old fashioned look too it ! It has a mirror which is lovely too have and it has lots of room . The colour makes the room look brighter and bigger too . Hope this helps you and also helps you decide furniture in general . Speak to you soon love soap Xoxox

Game storage ideas

Hey soapies ,

A little different but here’s a idea of what to do to store games

If you have a lot of games maybe a book case isn’t a good idea or stacking them up by the tv?

DBGinked (you can find him on Xbox) has tons of games so when I saw a online auction for a treasure trunk I went for it and got it for £32 .

The trunk is cool and looks interesting . Find something unique for your gaming needs … where do you store yours and what do you think of a treasure chest game box ?  From Soap xx
