I went into lush and thought I’d get my jumping juniper but in Exeter they didn’t have any 😫 however I spoke to one of their amazing member of staff who recommended this lovely little bar it smells Devine and she even tried it on my arm . I am super excited too use it . What’s your favourite soap shampoo bar ?
Love you all lots
Hello people ,
So this week I’ve been trying to work on getting people involved in an app called olio . Olio offers people free items of food or household items collected by your local volunteers or by yourself . I love this app because it means food won’t go to waste and it encourages us to think about the food we all have sat at home that could be useful too someone else .
Another app I love is regain which is where you recycle your clothes and get vouchers for new clothes .
Tell me your zero waste ideas , inspirational stories and help me to go zero waste completely . Also how do you lot avoid packaging ? Let me know x
Lots of love ,
Hey soapies ,
For a while I’ve been really thinking about trying the scentsy wax melts . I thought they were something that was sooo not worth the money … how I was wrong !!
I tested some for a local rep. I thought I was probably gonna be like yes it smells great and never ever use it again however I really do love the smell 🙈 the smells are now a lot more than when I first heard of the group and there’s so much you can do with the melts and warmers . The one I tried filled my whole flat for hours with the smell of warm coffee … it really made me think of luxury !
What have you tried and loved by accident ? Let me know ,
Love Soap xx
Today’s blog is on upcycling but still keeping a look that matches the times . This cabinet I kept the original colour however added a different colour too the draw and a rope handle .

Hey soapies ,
On Christmas Day I received a chest which was battered and definitely needed some love ( it was falling off everywhere and looked dreadful … that Word there I love as my nanny used too always say I looked dreadful and despite it being a horrible saying it just made me laugh ) anyway … the chest first off had all the rubbishy bits that were peeling taken off ( a whole bin bag! ) I used a wet wipe too get all the dust off ( magical item that is ! )
Then I used lord shurtons wood balsam over the wood carefully ( that was a purchase I didn’t intend but there was no wax in my town so this £2.50 savour was too the rescue ) followed by a sand and then another bit of balsam and a sand . This was all over a few days and did take a lot of time . I then finally varnished it too give it a darker look . This 1800s chest would have been chucked within a few years but now it’s preserved and it’s going too be my new blanket box . It just needs the fabric inside glueing … does anyone have any glue recommendations? Hope you have a lovely day x lots of love Soap xx
Hey Soapies ,
A little bit boring but here’s my blog today on my kitchen and the items I have . So I have a knife block which I always wanted one but they are normally so expensive I just stuck too random colourful knives in one of my draws which was like a finger trap every time I went in there . This block was from Asda and only cost £4 after Christmas ! So it was a bargain !
The next up is my stag container without the stag lid which contains straws and was £3 I believe in matalan . Followed by my super cheap containers from wilkos which can be used for anything and a brilliant for flour etc but cost from £3 so not bad and they look cute and they have a blackboard top … what more do you want ?
The sweet jars were from my mum but they can from Sainsburys and the spice rack was £9.99 in bandm and is practically all the spices and herbs you need ! What’s your bargain kitchen accessories and tell me what you want me too blog about x love Soap xx
If you know me you know that I love animals and Radley too. Radley is a brand from the uk which offers luxury items all with a little scotty dog either on or in them (not a literal dog… I wish!).For my 21st my 2nd oldest but not oldest sister … I made that complex… one of my sisters bought me a Radley watch.
I have never ever bought a Radley watch but oh my goodness its amazing. The dial is easy too read, the watch is lightweight and just like all Radley watches it comes with the little scotty dog attached too it.
This watch is nearly £60 but honestly its a necessity. You can wear it with anything. Tell me what Radley products you have and love.
lots of love,
